CREATION OF LOOMS

The fingers accompany the threads: like the waves of the sea, they go above and below... The preschool boys and girls who will go on to primary school are finishing weaving the loom that will be used to create a bag. Every day they dedicate some time to it when they arrive at school. This daily practice helps them acquire perseverance, patience, motivation, the practice of self-evaluation, full attention, creativity... At the same time, recognizing the satisfaction that creating a useful and practical object for life brings increases. the self-esteem. It is manual work that also involves practicing fine motor skills, putting hand-eye coordination or laterality to work, which will be the skill that will later help them to delve into reading and writing.

GARDEN PROJECT

"¡Mi corazón en el tuyo! ¿Y qué más? La rosa en mi corazón. - ¿Y qué más? La hojita nueva en la rosa. - ¿Y qué más? El agua en la hojita nueva. - ¿Y qué más? …El cielo azul en el agua." Juan Ramón Jiménez   Spring has arrived in the first cycle: everything has started to grow! The tree that was difficult to climb is now a piece of cake, the stories and books that we read in fits and starts now flow like a docile torrent. The garden has burst into colors, shapes and fruits that sweeten our mornings. In the garden space we have planted some sunflower seeds that we have been caring for and observing daily for three weeks. To our surprise, it has not been all a piece of cake. Once our seeds grew, we were surprised that some docile inhabitants of our garden liked the leaves of our sunflowers so much that they did not leave even one. We began to observe and imagine how to help our plants. And with ideas from everyone in the group, we created a tall castle surrounded by ashes to keep snails away from our sunflowers. And what a result! At the moment they continue to grow healthy, unfolding all their leaves towards the sun. And we are full of confidence that in the event of something unexpected we can solve it to continue growing.

THE WHOLE CONTAINS THE PARTS

In the second cycle class we are working on the circle as a symbol of unity, creating a large circular mural, which represents the group, and which is made up of small triangles that symbolize the students in class.
