"The noblest pleasure is the joy of understanding" Leonardo da Vinci   Problems and challenges is a space to put into practice, apply and develop mathematical knowledge through experience. The Third Cycle Primary group have been traveling with numbers, accompanying the work done during the mathematics period. They have investigated the qualities of numbers focusing on multiples and divisors. They have explored parts and fractions with the help of the entire class group and the different groups that we can create according to clothing colors, age, sex and other characteristics. Currently, they continue with the unit of measurement connecting with the class and school space. The 1st year ESO group has been doing the “Vitruvian Man” project during the weekly math space where they have combined different areas of mathematics. They have taken measurements of different parts of the body of the school students and have entered this data into LibreOffice, learning to use this tool to perform calculations and generate new statistical variables. Once the data has been calculated, they have represented it graphically with bar diagrams and have carried out an analysis to see if the proportions that the parts of our body have among themselves coincide with those found by Leonardo da Vinci.

"Geometry is the archetype of the beauty of the world" Johannes Kepler   The 1st ESO group is carrying out the geometry period, where students learn to use geometry instruments to construct new geometric shapes with precision and beauty. From the point, then the line, and finally the figures plans, they draw geometric figures, part of the most simple and after progressively increasing the complexity of the six elaborations. In this course, the objectives are realized with precision, clarity and accuracy; the students must be able to sustain the great attention and concentration that are necessary to be able to draw the proposed geometric shape, to finally donate color and obtain a full figure of beauty on each one expresses it in its own way to turn it into a totally personal and unique artistic work.

He wanted to know the mysteries of heaven, earth and the soul of man" Mary Shelley (published 1818) Frankenstein or the modern Prometheus What power do witches, monsters and creatures have over us? What function do they have in our imagination? What do these ancient creations, common to all cultures, tell us about? These weeks, 2nd and 3rd year ESO students are putting themselves in the shoes of the most literary monsters of our tradition to try to unravel their mysteries, just as the doctor created by the writer Mary Shelley wanted to do. In the "Witches, Monsters and Creatures" period, we come face to face with the evil and bloodthirsty vampire Dracula, the gorilla moviegoer King Kong, the chilling monster created by Dr. Victor Frankenstein... without forgetting the feminine aspect of the entire series. liturgy, represented in witches, the mysterious women with supernatural powers that the popular imagination has created. Through these myths, students are working on reading comprehension in Catalan as well as artistic creation by creating a comic as a team, just as they have reflected on the borders between fantasy and science fiction. As a personal project, they will have to create their own creature, witch or literary monster and bring it to life, in order to solve the internal enigma about the hidden power of monsters, witches and creatures.
